Gear Rundown: What I Actually Use

People ask about my gear a lot, so here it is. Nothing fancy.

Guitar: 2004 Fender Telecaster, sunburst. Bought it used for $600. It does everything I need.

Amp: Fender Blues Junior. Small, loud enough for clubs, takes pedals well.

Recording: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into Reaper. I tried the expensive DAWs but Reaper does what I need for $60.

Mics: SM57 on the amp, AT2020 for vocals. That's it.

The point is: you don't need much. Write good songs, record them honestly, and move on.
